Symptoms:
Pale skin
Drowsiness, fatigue
Soreness/inflammation of the tongue
Headaches, lightheadedness
Brittle nails
Accelerated heartbeat
Cold hands and feet
Poor appetite (especially in children)
Shortness of breath
Restless leg syndrome (an uncomfortable tingly sensation in your legs)
Odd food cravings (pregnentcy has been known to cause this as well)
* note: If iron deficiency anemia is mild you may not notice any symptoms.
After a year and a half of retirement, the focus on what is important and what is not, is becoming much clearer as time passes by. At this point in time they are, keeping healthy, both in mind and body and being wise in our investments, so we can get a return and hopefully be able a little more comfortable in our later life.
